Dispute Resolution Explained

After you meet with us at Bloom Law, you’ll have an idea about which dispute resolution pathway best suits your situation.

Most importantly, you have options:

Collaboration

A respectful, team-based approach where both parties commit to staying out of court with the support of specially trained lawyers and other professionals

Negotiation

Calm conversations, clear advice, and a focus on what matters most to you. We’ll work to reach an agreement without extra stress or cost. This will take the form of telephone conversations, meetings and/or correspondence with your former partner.

Mediation

Guided discussions with a neutral professional to help you and your former partner find common ground. It’s often a supportive, child-focused space to make decisions together.

Arbitration

Resolve property or financial disputes without going through a full court process. An expert family law arbitrator makes a binding decision, often saving time and giving you more control.

Court

When urgent action is needed or agreements can’t be reached any other way. While it’s rarely the first choice, I’ll draw on my extensive litigation experience to guide you through it with clarity and support if this path becomes necessary.

Bloom Law can help you navigate it all. It makes sense to have someone one your side to help you through.
