Kiarah is the Director and Principal Solicitor of Bloom Law.

Kiarah is proud to have been named the national Family Law winner in the Lawyers Weekly 30 Under 30 Awards (2023), an acknowledgment that reflects her dedication to her craft and the support of her colleagues. Kiarah was also a finalist in the Lawyers Weekly Women in Law Awards in both 2018 and 2020.

Kiarah’s passion for understanding the lasting effects of separation led to her completing a research thesis titled The Cost of Love, which analysed the economic outcomes of women following separation and divorce. With this project Kiarah aims to help shape policy for a fairer future.

Kiarah also works as an Independent Children’s Lawyer, another way she advocates for children at the heart of family law processes.

Kiarah specialises in:

• Utilising the Collaborative Law dispute resolution process.
• Complex parenting matters where the best interests of the children need to be considered amongst domestic and family violence, mental health concerns, substance abuse, difficult family dynamics and other complex issues.
• Property settlement matters where bespoke solutions are required to best protect the long-term economic outcomes of her clients.
• Resolving disputes using a multi-disciplinary approach with other experts and witnesses.
• Domestic and family violence litigation.

Kiarah assists those facing separation and divorce to achieve success as they enter a new phase of life. Kiarah adopts an approach where she assists her clients to identify their goals and interests and supports them through the most effective dispute resolution for their circumstances. Kiarah’s clients regard her for her attentiveness and compassion whilst being a strong and successful advocate.

Family law allows me the privilege of assisting clients recognise their worth and potential during a very difficult time for them.

In 2024, my son arrived. Amid the exhaustion and wonder, I knew. I knew I had something in me that I was trying to quieten that wouldn’t be quietened any more.

Bloom Law was born from my core belief that my clients, my loved ones, and I, can reach an awesome life.

Kiarah has practiced exclusively in Family Law since her admission in 2018. Kiarah has assisted hundreds of clients in private practice and various volunteer positions.

Kiarah is regarded as being pragmatic, identifying the issues in each matter effectively so that unnecessary expense and stress for her clients is avoided, and having a considered and supportive approach.

Kiarah holds a Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Government and International Relations, Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice and a Master of Applied Laws (Family Law). Kiarah is accredited as an Independent Children’s Lawyer, evidencing her exceptional skill in complex parenting matters. Kiarah is qualified as a Collaborative Law Practitioner. Kiarah served as a Board Member for the Queensland Association of Collaborative Practitioners for five years from 2020-2025. Kiarah held the role of Vice President of Queensland Young Lawyers in 2022. Kiarah is a member of the Family Law Practitioners Association of Queensland, Queensland Association of Collaborative Practitioners and Australian Association of Collaborative Practitioners.
